We use higher order reference method calibrators and all of our testing and calibration devices are certified by third party to meet the Malaysia Standards MS 2058 edition: 2009 Code of Practise for Good Engineering Maintance, Management of Active Medical Devices.

Accuracy is always the biggest concern of a thermometer user. Rossmax ThermoCal is a portable and convenient device that allows our biomedical engineers to easily check the accuracy of a thermometer in just a few seconds. The innovative design of the adjustable blackbody cavity applies to all three types of Rossmax thermometer products – pen type, ear and forehead thermometer. Thermometer will beep when the measurement is completed. Compare the reading given by the thermometer to the calibration temperature. The acceptable allowance for forehead & ear thermometer is within ± 0.2°C. For pencil thermometer is ± 0.1°C

The Rossmax Neb Tester is a portable and easy-to-use device that allows our biomedical engineers to quickly check the performance of the pump of a compressor nebulizer. No power source is required for the Neb Tester to operate and the test result is easy to read and interpret. This device is used to simulate the working conditions of the pump when the nebulizer is in operation with a medicationcup. For checking the following performances – Maximum (“free”) Air Flow, Operational Air Flow at particular pressure and Maximum Air Pressure. For the acceptable air flow, NB80 must ≥3.0 L/min when pressure at 8.0psi and NB500 must ≥ 3.5 L/min when pressure at 15.0psi.

Rossmax Suction Tester is a portable and easy-to-use device that allows our biomedical engineers to quickly check the performance of the pump of a suction unit. Power source is not required for Suction Tester during operation and the test result is easy to read and interpret. Suction Tester consists of an oil vacuum gauge, flow meter, PVC tubing and stainless steel stand. This device is used to check the working conditions of the pump. For checking the following performances – Maximum (free) air flow – Air flow scale 0~50 L/min accuracy ±4% of full scale and Maximum vacuum – Vacuum scale 0~-76 cmHg accuracy ±2.5% of full scale.

All weighing and measuring instruments use for trade need to be verified first before use and re-verified once every twelve months thereafter as stipulated by the Weight and Measures Act 1972 by The Metrology Department Malaysia (MDM). Our biomedical engineers would use the Fixed Weight which was certified by the Department to check the accuracy of the scales before returning to customers. It is an offence to use weighing or measuring instrument without valid verification or re-verification by MDM. The acceptable allowance below 100kg is 0.4kg (± 400gram) and above 100kg is 0.5kg (± 500 gram)
